Biography
Meet Katherine.
Katherine Glassey is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over fifteen years of experience helping individuals, couples, families, and groups navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing grief, struggling with anxiety or depression, dealing with the effects of trauma, or navigating difficult life transitions, Katherine is committed to walking alongside you with compassion, empathy, and hope.
Katherine specializes in helping clients explore their inner world and build greater emotional resilience. She uses a person-centered approach, where the therapeutic relationship is central to creating an environment of trust, safety, and acceptance. She believes in each person’s inherent strength and potential and works collaboratively with clients to empower them to make meaningful changes in their lives.
As a certified EMDR therapist, Katherine helps individuals process trauma and distressing memories. This evidence-based therapy allows clients to heal by reprocessing unaddressed emotions, leading to greater clarity and emotional regulation. Katherine also uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a transformative approach that addresses the various “parts” of ourselves. By compassionately working with these parts, clients can enhance self-awareness, resolve inner conflicts, and achieve emotional harmony.
Katherine’s work is driven by a deep belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and transformation. She takes a holistic approach, seeking to tap into clients’ natural strengths and empowering them with the tools they need to create lasting change.
